We are absolutely thrilled to share that Jantex Furnishing Company has received a High Street Award from Congleton Town Council to mark our 50th year in business.
In a special presentation at our showroom, Congleton Town Mayor, Cllr Kay Wesley, presented the Mayor’s Award to our Director and Owner Janet McDonough, in recognition of Jantex’s contribution to the local community and continued presence on the high street. The Mayor was joined by her Consort and warmly welcomed by some of our wonderful team members—Claire Taylor, Lee McGough, and Dave Mould—who have each played a huge part in our journey.
It was a proud moment, celebrating five decades of hard work, creativity, and community spirit. From our early days to now, Jantex has remained committed to providing quality furnishings and exceptional service to the people of Congleton and beyond.
“This award means so much to us,” said Janet. “To be recognised by our community after 50 years is incredibly special. It’s a reflection of our amazing staff, loyal customers, and the town we’re proud to be a part of.”
Thank you to all our customers, past and present, for your continued support. Here’s to the next chapter in the Jantex story!
