About Jantex
Jantex Furnishing Company Limited, established in Congleton in 1975, celebrates over 46 years in the trade.
We are proud to have remained a family-run, independent company, with specialised expertise and knowledge. We are based in Congleton, Cheshire; with its excellent transport links, we are perfectly placed to provide an efficient service throughout the Midlands and the North West of England.
We pride ourselves in attention to detail and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with the work we do, and every carpet job, every flooring project, every curtain job is left clean and tidy before we leave.
Bernard McDonough enjoyed over 65 years in the textile industry and traded in Congleton for 50 years. In 1975 he founded Jantex, building the business on the strengths of quality, service and value for money. Daughter Janet now proudly continues in her fathers footsteps, thus continuing the family tradition, with the same key principles very much in place.
Bernard was semi-retired in the early 1990s due to serious health problems which he bravely bore, and sadly he passed away in September 2012. He is greatly missed and will always be remembered.

Janet McDonough
Director
Janet joined her father in the company in 1987, thus making it a truly family-run concern.
Janet oversees the overall running of the business ably assisted by her team and brings over 37 years of experience in sales, marketing, buying and administration, alongside her formal degree in economics.
Dave Mould
Retail Sales
Dave Mould is our Retail Sales Executive having worked for us for over 37 years in our installations department and progressing to be Foreman Fitter.
Dave has moved to the Sales side of the company and brings with him his extensive knowledge of installing all types of flooring products, carpets, blinds, curtains etc. This enables Dave to offer in-depth advice to customers and provide guidance in selecting the right products to suit their specific requirements.
Lee McGough
Surveyor/Projects Manager
Lee was an installer for 23 years before becoming our Surveyor and Projects Manager 3 years ago, and his installation background and experience is invaluable when providing advice and product information. Lee is a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail and maintains the very high standard of installation.
Lee leads the dedicated installation teams who are directly employed by Jantex and who provide a service based on quality and customer service.
Claire Taylor
Administrator
Claire coordinates the administration of the busy office, dealing with customer enquiries and order processing.
Claire brings to Jantex her extensive customer service based background from the quality travel industry and liaises with Contract, Commercial and Retail customers.
Tracey Page
Accountant
Tracey is a Sage expert and Payroll Instructor with a long history of working in the accounting industry acquiring a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Tracey’s expert eye keeps everything in check.
Sandra Richardson
Saturday Retail Sales Assistant
Sandra has worked for us for a wonderful 40 years, definitely a cause for celebration. Sandra is now our Saturday Retail Sales Assistant and has so much knowledge and expertise in Soft Furnishings and Carpets.
Karen Brackley
Sales Assistant
Karen is our part time Retail Sales Assistant, with a Diploma in Soft Furnishings and a flair for colours and textiles.

Jamie joined Jantex 19 years ago having taken part in a school work experience placement.
Jamie is skilled in the installation of all types of Carpet and Flooring, Curtains, Tracks, Poles and Blinds.
Tony Mathers
Installation Team
Tony is a skilled installer with over 20 years experience in the Flooring Trade, specialising in all types of Carpet, Luxury Vinyl Tiles and Wood Flooring.
Liam Ribbans
Installation Team
Liam has over 6 years full time experience in Flooring Installations and enjoys working on the many varied projects that Jantex undertake.
Gary Duckworth

Gary is the newest member of out team, who comes from an installation background and is hardworking and enthusiastic.
